Description

Illustrated with 230 photographs drawn from the archives of Thornbury and District Museum and private collections, this volume highlights some of the events and changes that have taken place in the South Gloucestershire town of Thornbury during the last century. It also features Thornbury Grammar School, and some of the surrounding villages.

Author Biography:

Meg Wise has compiled this book on behalf of the Thornbury & District Heritage Trust. She runs the Local History Research Group, based at Thornbury Museum, on behalf of the Trust, and has helped to produce local history exhibitions at the museum.
