Lt. Col. Keith E. Bonn, US Army (Ret.) is a graduate of West Point with a Ph.D. in history. He served for over twenty years in a variety of important assignments, both in the United States and overseas. He has published several books on military subjects. He lives in Bedford, Pennsylvania, and he has revised the last three editions of this book.
