When the Governor of Florida challenges the kids in the state to come up with ideas to promote the learning of history and geography, a precocious eighth grader named Prez and his friends take on the challenge in a big way. They create an incredible flying gator that sings like Elvis and asks multiple choice history and geography questions. Under bizarre circumstances, the flying gator ends up flying out of control -- and that's where the real craziness begins! Before you know it, the whole world is involved in this incredible adventure!
When he was teaching fifth and sixth grades in North Dakota, Kevin Kremer began writing stories with his students. It was largely due to their encouragement that he wrote his first book, A Kremer Christmas Miracle, as a Christmas gift to his students and family. After that book was published, Kremer just kept on writing. Dr. Kremer has started a writing/publishing company to help with writing projects of any kind. Dave Ely is a self-taught artist with many talents. Besides illustrating books, he does custom wood carvings, bone sculptures, steel sculptures, and paintings. Many of his works depict a Western wildlife theme. Dave grew up in Bismark, North Dakota, and continues to live and work there. He draws inspiration from the people and wildlife in that area. Dave recently placed first at the National Taxidermy Contest in the reptile category; he placed second in the world for that same entry. He has also done a life-size bear carving and an eagle carving for the movie Wooly Boys.
