Though this game is old, it was great for it's time.
After the first couple of towns you get the freedom to travel almost anywhere
in the world. Each city has an array of missions to choose from, something small
like finding a ring, to looking all over the world for a group of people.
You can also level up your character and his abilities depending on what
stance you take, magical or technological – each has it's advantages and
disadvantages.
The story is, in a way, too long. With so much freedom, it is easy to get
sidetracked and forget where you are supposed to go or what you want to do, and
often makes it hard to want to continue with the main missions which progress
the story.
