Having played (and loved) Another World when it was first released on the Amiga, I looked forward to giving this updated edition a shot when a demo turned up months ago on a torrent site.
The newer gfx/resolutions do give it a nicer look obviously but where it remains the exact same is the gameplay which is not a bad thing at all. The first time you play it you'll be frustrated trying to work out how to get away from the first couple of obstacles, but once you get going its hell a lot of fun. It is a short game however once you get into the flow of things, I remember finishing it on the Amiga in about 30mins after completing it once.
I will be ordering this ASAP – isnt nostalgia great ? :)
I hope they release an updated version of Flashback as well, which is another great game using a similar gfx technology (and very often called Another Worlds sequel, which it isnt at all.) and gameplay but 10× the size of Another World.
