We really like Schleich figurines but they don't make sun bears. This Animal Planet bear is beautifully coloured and its stance is true to nature. I'll be happy to purchase other Animal Planet figurines that aren't in the Schleich range.

Animal Planet – Sun Bear
Unlike a number of the other eight bear species around the world, the Sun Bear does not hibernate. Due to the fact that Sun Bears are found in the tropics where there are not such sweeping seasonal changes, they simply have no need to sleep through the winter months.
