Author Biography

Ed Ramos has been fishing since he was able to hold a rod. Raised in South Florida, he has fished from the Keys to the Panhandle and everywhere in between. As a resident of Southwest Florida, Ed has been fortunate enough to fish in the Tarpon Capitol of the United States, Boca Grande. This area, well-known for its resources, has allowed Ed the insight to learn what conditions produce catching fish. Ed has also had the opportunity to fish other parts of the country for species not found in Florida, like Northern Canada, for the Great Northern Pike and Walleye, which blessed our campfires on many occasions. These are the expeditions which prompted the need for local knowledge, and thus, The Angler IQ fishing log and Calendar 2009.
