Bob Darroch has been a freelance cartoonist and illustrator for a number of years. His work can be seen on postcards, souvenirs, t-shirts, children's toys and jigsaws. He started writing and illustrating his own books for children in 1999 with the release of The Kiwi that was Scared of the Dark and followed this up in 2002 with The Kiwi who lost his Mum. He has also illustrated and written several other children's books. Bob lives in Temuka with his wife, Ruth.
