Despite a bit of a complex setup process, the game is actually surprisingly easy for new players to pick up. It has a good level of strategic depth, and different races and abilities cater for varying play styles, such as aggressive, defensive, controlling or economic. Would highly recommend for teenage and adult players – might be a bit complex for kids.
