Description

On a cold, dark, and rainy night in Amityville, New York, a group of priests gather shivering on the sidewalk. Silently they each remove a crucifix and rosary beads from a large black bag and move towards the front door of an eerie house. The evil presence in the house howls and screams in protest as one by one, the Priests enter room after room, chanting the prayers of exorcism.

3000 miles away and two weeks later, newly widowed Nancy Evans and her three children have just moved into the family home with her mother, Mrs Alice Leacock. The same day a package arrives from Mrs. Leacock's sister in New York, a birthday present. It is a huge ugly and vaguely sinister lamp purchased at a yard sale in... Amityville.
