Author Biography:

Wilma H. Miller, Ed.D., is former Professor of Education at Illinois State University in Normal, where she taught undergraduate and graduate students in reading for 25 years. Prior to that she was an elementary school teacher in Illinois and Arizona. Dr. Miller has written nearly 200 publisher journal articles dealing with various aspects of reading for The Reading Teacher, Elementary English, and Reading Horizons, to name a few. She has also authored 17 books in the field, including Reading Teacher's Complete Diagnosis and Correction Manual (1988), Reading Comprehension Activities Kit (1990), and Complete Reading Disabilities Handbook (1993), published by The Center.
