Author Biography

Mark Reid needed to live half a lifetime and read 1,000 books in order to write his first novel. Luckily he enjoys both reading and writing. He also likes dining out with friends and family, hiking (in the mountains of the Pacific Northwest), and traveling the world. His goal is to set foot on all seven continents - he has visited five so far and hopes to complete the set in the near future with journeys to Africa and Antarctica. He has deep roots in the Pacific Northwest: his great-great-great-grandparents trekked to Oregon in a covered wagon along the Oregon Trail. He currently resides in downtown Portland, Oregon.
