All Blacks Rugby Challenge previews

Rugby Challenge is set to be the most comprehensive digital representation of the sport of Rugby ever made. With 98 different teams, a host of different competitions, a 13 year long franchise mode, commentary by New Zealand’s own Grant Nesbit and Justin Marshall, customisable and creatable players/teams/com­petitions, Rugby Challenge should keep any rugby fan busy for a long time.

Rugby Challenge is being developed by Sidhe, the makers of the old Rugby League games, however game play and graphics have been improved greatly for their first foray into union.

Not all the international teams are licensed, however other than the South African national and Super teams, this will have no real negative result other than an unofficial national jersey, as all the other players are licensed through their club competitions.

RWC2011 is horrible exactly like Rugby 08. If not worst. This will be the one I buy so let it be good

I've got the Rugby League games that SIDHE have made and they are fun to play. A little glitchy sometimes but still good games which I've spent hours playing with/against friends. Looking at screenshots and information released about this game and the RWC 2011 game thats coming out… THIS one looks to be the better game! It is also apparent that SIDHE have put alot more effort/resources into this one than they have with their league games. The other game will probly be good, but I pick this one to be better :)

This game brings a fresh approach to rugby videogames of the past.. Think of it as (if you are also an nba game fan) transitioning from nba live to nba 2k. The graphics, fresh gameplay and features of this one makes Rugby Challenge the better game. I've played the RWC 2011 demo, it's pretty much the same as EA's Rugby 06 & 08.. Boring… I should say… Hopefully Challenge won't have any major glitches and I also hope that regular updates can be done too as there will be players transitioning around the world e.g. Nonu, Weepu and (maybe) SBW will go to the Blues next season for Super 15, and I saw Nonu still playing for the canes in the trailer. Overall this is the better rugby videogame based on trailers (I havent played the demo of this) looking forward to go hands-on with this one! :)

This game will be a vast improvement on Rugby League Live, which was just enough to wet the appetite for a League game on PS3 / xbox. All Blacks / Wallabies Rugby Challenge looks like its going to be fantastic with focus around rucks FINNALY! I think I will have to pre – order here cause I cant have a filthy Wallabies cover in my house!

The best part about this is diffenitly going to be the itm cup. Looking foward to playing this.

Rugby Challenge will include the All Blacks, Qantas Wallabies, ITM Cup, Aviva Premiership, and Super Rugby teams amongst other licensed teams and competitions, and will feature multiplayer online play, a multi-year franchise mode, a tutorial mode for novice players, extensive customisation options, and dynamic real-time commentary by Grant Nisbett and Justin Marshall.

This clearly looks better than RWC 2011 to date. It is the only game that has the licenses for the All Blacks, Wallabies, and apparently USA (with more to come possibly) meaning RWC 2011 cannot use the official All Blacks, Wallabies name in their game.

ITM Cup, Super Rugby, Aviva Premiership are in as well as the Tri Nations so there are plenty of tournament modes. Screenshots to date blow RWC 2011 out of the water.

If gameplay lives up to the rest of this, then this will be the best rugby game since Jomu Lomu Rugby

If Sidhe are making this game than its gonna be a good one.Sidhe have made all the rugby league games on ps2 and rugby league 3 on wii which I think is the best rugby league game around.Dont get confused with the rugby league live on ps3 not sidhe and they are years behind.Rugby games look to be in safe hands here is hoping anyway.

SIDHE NZ is different to the people who made nrl Rugby Challenge is a completly new game and cant wait til this comes out.

After a long wait finally there will be not one, but two rugby games coming to all platforms in time for the Rugby World Cup. It would be great if both titles have all players and teams fully licensed but I'm not holding my breath. This particular title is made by the same company who does the NRL games. I have checked out the feedback on their latest NRL title and it's not good, but hopefully they do a better job with this title being a rugby game.

Finally a rugby game for the ps3. But with sidhe making the game I am a bit skeptical. These guys made the rugby league games which Are real bad. The screen shots look good. Hopefully the gameplay is just as good. Will have to try before I buy his one I think

Games going to be awesome

The Rugby league live game that just came out wasnt developed by Sidhe Games, a different developer did that mess up, the original games of league were awesome on the PS2 and thos were made buy Sidhe, so Rugby challenge will be even better and to top it off the graphics will be a s**t load better

I've looking n thinking all blacks rugby challenge is alot btter and also I cant wait 2 play super rugby cause my mate is in it 2!!!!

I love rugby games ive always played them I can say I am happy to finally see a rugby game for the ps3 console rugby 2008 was amazing am not sure who are the makers of this game but I sure hope they have the same game play as ea sports rugby
