Description

From gathering honey in Spring to building cosy campfires in Autumn, these forest friends make the most of each season, both enjoying the great outdoors and staying snug inside. Learning the alphabet is fun when adventuring with these critters, and children and adults alike will delight in Teagan White's sweet, nostalgic illustrations. Fans of Deborah Underwood's The Quiet Book (Houghton Mifflin Harcourt, 2010) will love this adorable tale that takes readers on a year-long story adventure, from Spring to Winter, and from A to Z.

Author Biography:

TEAGAN WHITE is a freelance designer & illustrator from Chicago, now living and working in Minnesota, where they earned their BFA in Illustration from the Minneapolis College of Art & Design in 2012. Their work encompasses intricate drawings of flora and fauna, playful watercolors of anthropomorphic critters, illustrated typography, and everything in between. Teagan lives in the woods across the street from train tracks and a fox den, and spends their free time scolding neighborhood squirrels, exploring forests, rivers, lakes, and swamps, picking wildflowers, and collecting animal bones. Adventures with Barefoot Critters is their first picture book.
