Its a great Tintin movie. A shame they only did 1 other in this series. Very funny and wonderful locations. Haddock is hilarious as are the Thompson Twins. Captures the feel of the books really well.

Description

First released in 1961 and the first live-action Tintin film. Set in Istanbul, Turkey, it is considered by many ‘Tintinologists’ to be one of the best Tintin films ever produced. Tintin, memorably played by Jean-Pierre Talbot, teams up with his dog Snowy to help their friend Captain Haddock (charles Wilson) on a special quest. This classic adaptation has aged well, combining stunning cinematography with excellent action sequences and will be hugely popular among fans of the classic Hergé comic.
