Leaving the land of the Manitou behind, no longer circling Winnipeg without fuel, the adventure carries on across the railway, the secondary highways, the long roads, and a downstream channel to Blanc Sablon. This is a major hitch-hiking expedition covering thousands of kilometres leading to a whole new roadway and returning to a riverboat that's no longer the same as on a previous journey. This leads to another Viking settlement, far from Scandinavia and then another nearly 2,000 klometres of hitch-hiking to Quidi Vidi and away. Reconnecting to the land of Lief Erickson we're becoming like astronauts slingshotting from the far side of the moon to land in Tayoshi once more.
