Description

How do teachers and parents of children with autism address their social skills? And what do they do about problem behaviours? This work provides possible explanations for these behaviours, and helps teachers and parents to address them. It also describes why traditional approaches to managing poor behaviour in the classroom do not work for children with autism. The text is full of tips on how to tackle different kinds of problem behaviour in the classroom and outside it and includes many individual examples.
