Author Biography:

Roger Walsh is professor of psychiatry, philosophy and anthropology at the University of California. He has published over a hundred articles and twelve books. Frances Vaughan is a psychologist in private practice. She is on the clinical faculty of the University of California Medical School and was formerly president of the Association for Transpersonal Psychology and the Association for Humanistic Psychology.
