Description

The Africa Center for Strategic Studies is the only DOD Regional Center to preceded the Geographic Combatant Command it supports. The ACSS has largely continued its established practices and a business model that didn't include AFRICOM. Since AFRICOM's stand-up, not much has been done to link the two organizations in their common mission. The ACSS and AFRICOM need to work in unison--not disjointedly--to engage our African partners.
