A Plump and Perky Turkey by Teresa Bateman
Sorry, this product is not currently available to order

The residents of Squawk Valley find themselves without a turkey- for their Thanksgiving feast. In order to lure one to town, they hold a sham of an arts and crafts fair with a turkey theme, and advertise for a turkey who will submit to being an "artist's model" for the fair. The townsfolk hang lots of posters in the forest, and Pete the Perky Turkey responds. He agrees to model for the artists, as they create their turkey paintings and sculptures. However, after the sculpture is done, and the room is filled with "turkey art." Pete finds that the artwork is "the perfect camoflauge" and is able to make a get-away, leaving the townsfolk with a Thanksgiving feast of shredded wheat. 001 1857754557
