Narrative, or a tale illustrating the princi ples and methods of education and upbringing. The Society seeks practical and useful works. The books should be free, however, from the prejudice and bias of current controversies. The works must be popular in character of a high order of merit, and each consist of not less than nor more than words. The mss. Must be submitted to the Committee of Publi cation on or before October 1, 1893. Each ms. Should have a special mark, and the name and address of the author should be sent at the same time in a sealed envelope (not to be opened until after the award) bearing the same mark.
