Author Biography:

In 2001, Brenda started to write stories around an insect Character created by her daughter Claire Ng-Martin. Brenda added a family and friends, developing an insect community. She designed the stories for children's enjoyment and to help their reading abilities. Brenda is a creative writer and health & wellness coach. She founded the Come Alive School of Natural Health & Wellbeing, where she works as a practitioner. Claire created the Grub character years ago, as a teenager. Partnering with her mother, Brenda Martin, they created children's stories, brought to life by Claire's detailed and colourful illustrations. Claire is the producer of the Grub Tales collection. She is also an artist working with oil paint, and owns a language services company offering translation, content writing, content editing and proof-reading.
