These books are absolutely amazing and I would seriously recommend getting the whole series in one go. Once you start the first you wont be able to stop until the series is finished.

I started watching the show and enjoyed it so got the books, now I'm absolutely hooked on the series! Probably the greatest read I have ever had, a must buy for someone looking for a good read!

Excellent value for the bookset and once again prompt delivery from MA. Terrific series – what an imagination. Appreciate the TV adaptation more as the books can obviously deal with issues in more detail. Recommend.

For what I have read so far, the books have been very good, I am a bit annoyed of the condition that the box and the sides of the books are, some have dented corners or water damage. But this hasn't affected the ink inside the book luckily…

After finishing another series I am presently reading,Cannot wait to start reading this series and am so happy to be able to have a complete set.

I bought this after hearing from a friend how good it was and watching the HBO television show. George R R Martin is a wizard. I recommend getting this! If you have read the first book, the action does not let up.

The only complaint I have about the books is that after reading them all, it is hard to fit them back into the cardboard slip – and the side of the cardboard slip tore a little even before I had read any books from it.

These are incredible books – once you start you can't stop. They are so in-depth and have amazing characters and plot.

I would highly recommend buying them all in the boxset, very economically efficient since you'll want to own them all!

George R.R Martin has created riveting, vivid, mature and compelling fantasy epic in ‘A Song Of Ice And Fire’. The books are long, but even if you're aren't a fan of lengthy novels, you will be engrossed by them from the beginning, the multitude of entertaining characters, thought provoking plots and doesn't shy away from themes left out in fantasy such as sex, language and violence. This in mind, it is not recommenced for younger readers.

Fans of the T.V show, ‘Game Of Thrones’ (based on these novels) should certainly buy these as it gives you more detail and is superior in nearly every way.

I recommend these books for any book reader, as you are definitely missing out on a fantastic read, that will leave you wanting more of this epic tale.

I've seen the TV series, but wow these books go into real depth and have different story lineage. I don't usually read novels but this beats counting sheep!
