Description

This book explores the issue of safety for young children. It explains the importance of understanding the difference between what is safe and what is not, and goes on to look at how children can feel safe at home, at school, in the playground, in the street, and elsewhere. Information on natural 'instinct' is given and advice for children on what to do if they feel scared at any time. Pat Thomas is a trained psychotherapist, naturopath, journalist and mother. After working as a journalist and broadcaster in the USA, she now works in the field of women's health and child development and writes for various publications including Practical Parenting.
