Description

How did the Catholic Church become inundated with serious troubles as it is today? Are you curious of what the causes were, and how they infiltrated the Church?

Author Biography:

The author is a textile engineer by profession, and writing this book came about as a result of an awareness of how today's Catholics are uninformed and not catechized. Religious reading materials have always interested the author, a minimal, good enough Catholic, until an inspiring event touched her. In 1997, she had the bewildering experience, along with three other people, of receiving the gift of "hearing" from the Holy Spirit. The happening was contrary to the author's scientific training, and was difficult to assimilate initially. After the event, the four recipients, who were of different gender and age, started hearing very clearly most of the homilies, readings and talks. That event took place while they were attending a Prayer Group (The Fountain of Love and Mercy of the United Hearts of Jesus and Mary) led by Lynn Geronimo. The author wants to show gratitude to the Lord by concentrating on the spiritual dimensions of life: attending Mass often and getting involved with religious (non-social) activities. She decided to retire early and progressed unhindered in her quest. She met quite a large number of Catholics in the process, and recognized the need of sharing her knowledge of the Church. She now lives in the outskirts of Montreal with her retired husband. Their two grown children are both married with their own families.
