What Did I Do to Deserve This, My Lord!? 2 is a single player real-time strategy game in which players take on the role of protector of the comically evil Overlord Badman from the slew of heroes that pursue him. Players resume the role of the god of Destruction from the first game in the series and are tasked with excavating dungeons and balancing the monster ecosystem that fills it. Players use the in-game pick ax to dig the tunnels of their dungeons, and Badman's Chamber Mode to experiment cultivating monsters utilizing the environment and mana without interference from meddlesome heroes. After monsters have been grown they can be placed strategically along dungeon passages to do battle with the heroes that are bound to invade and confound the contraptions that they bring.

The game features several upgrades over the original game including more stages, heroes and monsters, new systems, like the mutation system which allows the player to alter existing monsters by changing the the environment and several monitoring elements. Finally, What Did I Do to Deserve This, My Lord!? 2 contains the full original game to complete the player's gaming experience.
