This is the best introduction to wargamming since Heroquest / Space Crusade board games as the rules are very easy.
The ten Liberators if bought in two separate unit boxes is almost the price of this set (so the rest is pretty much free). Extremely well detailed figures. Easy to understand instructions to put together.
4 Pages of rules only means quick to get in but hard to fully master. Warscroll rules for the units included in the booklet. Other AoS branded unit/terrain boxes sold have the Warscroll rules so no need to buy additional rules. Older Fanstasy armies have Warscroll rules downloadable on the GW website
Able to be played on a kitchen table as skirmish level game! But you can play up to the really big 8th edition size games if you wish.
If your planning to start collecting either army I would recommend starting with one box and save up later to buy a second (you can buy also a box of liberators and convert the second box to have more weapon choices).
Videos of how to paint the figures using GW water based paint is found on Warhammer TV youtube channel.
Also great for older people like me you cant be bothered reading heaps of rules before playing the game. Also a great place to start before going to its way more advanced cousin Warhammer 40,000 (40k).
GW will continue tweaking the game. Currently no official rules for competitions but as the community is desperate for it, its only a matter of time before an optional add on will come out.
