The Trip to Italy is a 2014 British comedy-drama film on DVD, directed by Michael Winterbottom.

The boys are back! In the long-awaited follow up to comedy smash The Trip, The Trip to Italy sees two of Britain’s best-loved comic actors, Steve Coogan (PHILOMENA) and Rob Brydon (Tristram Shandy: A Cock and Bull Story), on a whirlwind culinary road trip in Italy.

Enjoying mouth watering meals in the gorgeous surroundings of Liguria, Tuscany, Rome, Amalfi and Capri, this modern day comedy odd couple riff on subjects as varied as Batman’s vocal register, Pompeii, the artistic merits of Alanis Morissette's “Jagged Little Pill”, and, of course, compete on who can do the best Michael Caine impersonation.
