Any child who likes Sesame Street or ‘The Wheels on the Bus’ song will love this. The quality of the pages is not high (the same as other Little Golden Books) but ok.

Description

The Wheels on the Bus, a perennial favorite of the toddler set, gets a uniquely Sesame Street spin in this very funny Little Golden Book. Elmo, Grover, and Cookie Monster board a bus and meet some wacky passengers, including a furball with a boombox, frogs, cows, a brass band, and a family of yipping Martians. The sound effects in the chorus reflect the voices and activities of the passengers in a way that will have little ones-and adults-laughing out loud as they join in the song.

SARAH ALBEE, a children's book writer with a unique comic sensibility, is the author of scores of children's books, including Little Golden Books, hardcover original storybooks, licensed titles, and novelty books, with several dozen Sesame Street titles among them. JOE EWERS has been illustrating children's books for many years, among them many dozens of Sesame Street titles.
