Did not realize Edward Norton was also the facial actor for Hulk…excellent performance by an established actor.

The Incredible Hulk has the distinction of being not the best teaser for The Avengers, but perhaps the most capable of standing alone, the most brisk in its storytelling. We can’t really call it a sequel to Ang Lee’s 2003 Hulk because the entire cast has been changed, nor is it exactly a reboot. As good as the majority of the casting and the story are, they don’t cover up for the fact that the action climax is still just a clash of enormous CGI creations. It really destroys any emotional connection to watch two green giants (neither of whom can be injured) battling it out.

"A bit different and Good Fun"

The casting on this is different, but good, nice to see excellent actors getting to play in an action flick! It feels a bit like a renegade to the Marvel movie universe for some reason, but we totally enjoyed it.

Description

The Incredible Hulk kicks off an all new, explosive and action packed epic of one of the most popular superheroes of all time.

Scientist Bruce Banner (Edward Norton) desperately hunts for a cure to the gamma radiation that poisoned his cells and unleashes the unbridled force of rage within him: The Hulk.

Living in the shadows – cut off from the life he knew and the woman he loves, Betty Rose (Liv Tyler) – Banner struggles to avoid the obsessive pursuit of his nemesis, General Thunderbolt Ross (William Hurt), and the military machinery that seeks to capture him and brutally exploit his power.

As all three grapple with the secrets that led to The Hulk's creation, they are confronted with a monstrous new adversary known as The Abomination, whose destructive strength exceeds even The Hulk's. One scientist must make an agonising final choice: accept a peaceful life as Bruce Banner or find heroism in the creature he holds inside: The Incredible Hulk.
