The story alone is incredible, team of hockey players who won gold in the 1976 Olympics, the first and only NZ team to ever win gold. What makes it even more incredible is the remarkable individual stories of the team members who even themselves didn't think it was possible. Adding to this is anguish in the Olympics process, a horrific injury in the final and sheer determination to beat the odds, brilliantly told, must read and will remain one of the great kiwi stories of making the impossible reality.
