Flawless and believable performance by Julianne Moore. This personally isn't a movie I would watch again BUT am glad I have seen it, it's one that stays with you after the credits have rolled.

This is a film which explores the journey of a woman suffering early onset Alzheimer's and is a sensitive portrayal, not the usual Hollywood type of production. It shows the affects on both the woman and her family of this affliction as it robs her of her independence.
Alice Howland is a brilliant woman who is given the devastating diagnosis of early onset Alzheimer's at age 50. This heartfelt drama illustrates Alice's life as a linguistics professor at Columbia University and her rapid decline of words, sentences and sense of self. On a day like any other, Alice sets out for a run, taking the route she always runs and soon realises she has no idea how to find her way home. She is lost – a feeling that will only grow for her and those around her.
