This headset is very comfortable, and great quality, definitely the best headset I have ever purchased. It's microphone is also very clear and great for online gaming. It also looks very cool! It is so comfortable, I don't like taking it off, thats how nice it is!

I would definitely recommend this product to you, if you can afford the hefty price, if you can't I'd suggest you save because it's well worth it!

As a card-carrying audiophile (I have the aptitudes test to prove it), these are the best headphones I have ever had for music and gaming. The shape and padding is extremely comfortable and vented capsules mean you can wear them for a long time (ie gaming) without your head and ears getting too hot. The headband construction is excellent and must have been designed by an engineer, because in the couple of years I have had them they have never broken, cracked, or shown any signs of mechanical fatigue. Just a little bit of fabric rub-wear/aging is all.

The separate microphone is a good idea in theory, but in practice I prefer what they have done with the V2 – a slide-out wire boom mic which can be slid in to be hardly noticeable. I want to get a set of those! Running out the second wire of the lapel mic can be a nuisance and you get tangled up like a cat in a ball of twine. The quality of the mic's construction appears to be on par with the headpones themselves however.

I recommend getting this set if using a lapel mic is separable, or if in fact what you want is just a great pair of headphones for listening to music. But if you are a die-hard PC gamer, you will want the V2 or V3 model like I do.

This headset is extremely comfortable, you could literally sleep in these things without any discomfort. Sound quality and control is great but if you're going to buy, buy the v2 or v3. There is nowhere for you to put the mic on this headset, it is completely separate on a small clip with it's own cord (I thought it was only "detachable) whereas I believe the mic is built in on the v2 & 3 versions. This should also save you the literal pile of cords this headset comes with… I haven't even taken the twist ties off half of them since unboxing it and they still get underfoot and under-chair wheel. The mic and mess of cords is a real hassle, enough to have me already looking into upgrading. If separate mic and super long cord suit your needs however, this is a great headset that I'd highly recommend it.
