Glasser is the one-woman creation of Cameron Mesirow, the latest signing to the growing roster of artists on the True Panther label (Delorean, Girls, Magic Kids). Ring is her debut album.

Following on from her debut EP, Apply, & UK-only 12” Tremel on the Young Turks label (The xx, El Guincho), Ring sees Glasser’s intimate, luxurious sound resonating wildly – and being taken to a whole other level.

Glasser worked for months with producer Ariel Rechtschaid to re-imagine her musical arrangements, incorporating organic instrumentation like strings, woodwind, brass & a wide array of percussion into her once sparse recordings.

Van Rivers & The Subliminal Kid (Fever Ray, Blonde Redhead) also contributed to a few tracks on Ring.

Somehow, in Glasser’s efforts to make sense of her world, she has made an album with the universal lure of both a lullaby & a hymn.
