This product does exactly what it should. The 3DS XL just sits in the dock and charges using the metal contacts. Much easier than plugging a cable in. Very convenient.

Accidentally bought the wrong charging dock but I can tell you this. Its small and doesnt take up much space which is very handy. It also looks nice and simple
Just drop in your New 3DSXL and look at it there all on display happily charging away :)
Used with AC adapter. A Charging Cradle can help make recharging more convenient.
This Charging Cradle will ONLY work with the New Nintendo 3DS XL. It is not compatible with any other Nintendo system. AC Adapter not included.
