While I didn't buy mine from Mighty Ape, I picked up the item very cheap at the The Warehouse. Good solid build, can handle being dropped, runs through the bluetooth which can be a bit slow at times but over all not too noticeable unless you have a game that requires button bashing quickly. Runs on AAA batteries which was a bit of a pain, would of liked to see built in battery and a pass through Micro USB connector to charge both the device and the phone at the same time. Thumb sticks were nice and felt solid to me, buttons are very tacky, felt more like buttons from a old portable diskman than say a PSx or XB controller. The holding bar put a little bit of pressure on the volume keys on my HTC One X but not enough to fully push it down. Over all a nice device to have floating around for when using buttons on the smart phone screen just isn't a nice experience. Final note, the official drivers were a bit crap, there are a few other people with apps that replace them and work nicer

So I got a new samsung s7 edge that came with the gear vr headset which is actually much better than I expected it to be, to the point that I decided to get a bluetooth controller for it. Unfortunately… It doesn't work with gear vr, and it wont work with any random game. Why- you need to download the Moga pivot app and hope that your games are on that. Because apparently it doesn't work without it. After looking into this controller I found that its pretty much an old model now and the other controllers from Moga actually will work without pivot.

TL;DR – Requires app & needs to have the game you want to play on the app. DOES NOT WORK ON SAMSUNG GEAR VR!

If you looking for a small Android game controller, this one is for you. Easy to setup and with little more effort I got it to work with many emulators (by follow video on YouTube). The stick feels like the one on PSP. It also come with a soft case.

Pro:

• Small and portable
• Excellent build quality
• Feel nice in hand
• Works with many emulators (extra free app require)

Con:

• 2AAA Batteries requires(recommend rechargeable batteries)
• No D-pad
