Following the release of his UK quadruple platinum-selling album The Defamation of Strickland Banks, the Brit Award-winning artist Plan B (AKA Ben Drew) has announced details of his forthcoming album ill Manors, which is set for release through Atlantic Records on Friday 11th May 2012.
Produced by Plan B, the album features the instrumental of ‘Alles Neu’ by Peter Fox. He commented, “You could call ill Manors ‘bass-line, soul, hip-hop’. The album has the lyrical depth of my first record but the musical composition is light years ahead as it's informed by everything I've learnt in the last five years – writing, producing and playing with a live band. I feel I'm better than I've ever been.”
The album will be preceded by the theatrical release of the accompanying full length motion picture ill Manors. The film is written and directed by Plan B (local film release date TBC). The first single, also titled ‘Ill Manors’ will be released shortly.
