this is definitely not your average harvest moon series game, if youre after the traditional harvest moon i would hold out until story of seasons (created by xseed, apart of natsume). this game has a completely different animation, which is fine, and teraforming like minecraft, but it definately does not hold harvest moon tradition, there is no growth time on your crops, you will have to guess when these will grow. there is no relationships outside love with characters, there is no actual town either.
you have your standard crops, and animals and terraforming, otherwise all this game shares with the harvest moon series is its actual name, i think i would be less dissapointed if it didn't hold harvest moon in its name.
i don't really know what else to say other than this was hugely dissapointing and i will be returning it to put my money towards story of seasons :(
Hiking your way through the mountains one day, you become caught in an unexpected snowstorm, and find shelter with the help of a faint voice. When you awaken, you find and help a kindly Harvest Sprite buried under the snow, who tells you all of the seasons in the valley have vanished except for winter. To return all 4 seasons to the valley, you'll need the help of the villagers, the Harvest Sprites, the Harvest Goddess, and even the King of the Underworld! You've never played a Harvest Moon game quite like this!
