Pioneering French electronic musician, Jean-Michel Jarre is one of the electronic music’s most important and influential figures and his upcoming 18th studio album, Electronica 1: The Time Machine’ is arguably his most personal to date.
The album was conceived with Jarre’s wish to encompass the last few decades of electronic music with the participation of outstanding artists of all generations with whom Jarre feels especially connecte with by a common DNA. The album features a total of 16 different collaborators, including The Who’s Pete Townshend, Moby, Armin Van Buuren, Air, Little Boots, M83, Tangerine Dream, Gesaffelstein and 3D from Massive Attack.
