Love this 3D adventure, and being a double feature made it great value. We loved it…
Excellent photography and informative. My only reservation is the reference in the Egypt film to the Biblical account of the Israel Exodus as “legend”. As a Christian, I believe the Biblical story to be historical and factual and find any suggestion that it is not, offensive. Given the narrator is a non-believer, he would have been better to have referred to the event as the “Bible account” rather than by the somewhat pejorative term “legend”.
I like me some docos, but these two aren't great. Madagascar was informative and interesting, but not a great compared to other nature docos, and music was pretty awful. The Egypt one was just plain tedious. Never finished it.
Both titles (two different discs) play unevenly on an XBox One. For some reason every minute or so they pause for half a second or more. No damage to the discs, other discs play fine. Something odd with the encoding or XBox playback.
