Purists may refuse to watch any other version thats not played by Jennifer Ehle and Collin Firth but when you are a fan sometimes you cannot deny your curiosity as to what becomes of the Darcys and inadvertently all the characters of Pride and Prejuidice. Death comes to Pemberley is a clever who-done-it using Pemberley as a backdrop for an intriguing murder mystery. An interesting and revealing tale that cleverly captures the personalities of so many original characters and gives us an insight as to how time has changed them. Wickham and Lydia, true to form, are at the centre of all the drama yet again and as the mystery is unravelled a few familliar faces make an appearance. We also get to see some new characters to get a rounded feeling of what life may have been like back then. The story is long but its worth it. 3.5 stars.
