Doesn't shade well, gives an ugly gloss!
I'm a big fan of the Army Painter Dark Tone. It gives me the control I want on the shadows and tones of my minis, and goes on a treat with no bubbles and minimal excess pooling (which you can always wick away easily enough). I consider it a must for those larger, massed-battle games such as A Song of Ice and Fire or Kings of War.
