Dangerous Orphans
Three handsome orphans seek vengeance for a murder. Death and mayhem result from their efforts.
DANGEROUS ORPHANS is a pacy urban-based thriller in which three young men O’Malley, Rosi and Moir are orphaned at an early age. One of the orphans – Harry O’Malley – sets out to avenge the death of his father, whom he saw innocently gunned down by two criminals – Jacobs and Hanna.
O’Malley, who like his father has become an actor, enlists the help of his childhood friends from the orphanage – Rossi who has now become a restaurateur and Mori a bookseller. The plot twists and turns its way through a variety of drug deals, Swiss bank accounts, an imported hitman, the occasional killing and an important romance.
DANGEROUS ORPHANS takes a comparatively straight forward story and dresses it to create a tense, violent, bizarre and sometimes amusing film. On one level it can be seen as a boys own ‘scam’ while on another level it is a fascinating look at violence and revenge and how both can escalate beyond belief
