MW3 PC reviews

Some scenery seems to be familiar from previous game, but can live with that, the fact that they spent time continuing MW3 from last game gives it a good feel, love all the extras when finished with main objectives. It's a first person shooter so enjoy what it is, there are hours of extras to keep you occupied, especially if you play solo. No complaints at this end, its a great game.

If you have played all the COD's before you will step straight into this one, with a smile on your face and sweat under your armpits!

The Campaign is not long and a reasonable storyline, but everyone buys this for the Multiplayer. Steam seem to have done the on line game selection better and you are quickly into a server and seamless migration if the Host goes down. My only problem is everyone is better than me!!

If you like sniper's maps you are going to be disappointed, as there is little in the way of high place sniping positions or good fields of fire, but what the heck, I am learning to ‘Run and Gun’. I may become a Run & Gun Camper. They surely don't like people hiding and shooting them in the back <smile>.

The weapon upgrades seem better and more logical than previous COD's.

The one thing you notice about the negative reviews is they all say buy Battlefield 3, aka they are all Battlefield fans trying to pull people away from call of duty. For a few years Call of duty has lead in the big rivalry between the cod and bf players and now after the highly graphics and physics of bf3 the bf fans think they can try and turn the tides by pulling people to bf.

The fact is simple, FOR GOODNESS SAKE BF fans, Call of duty has never been about the extreme graphics, Call of duty is like a REALLY GOOD book series you just cant stop reading. The Storyline in the call of duty games are AMAZING and the tension and thrill of the characters just lifts you out of your chair. Call of duty has always been about the story and involving the player in it and this games does just that, you feel apart of the characters and involved. So if you are up for a really good story YOU get to be involved in with fairly high graphics and physics then BUY IT BUY IT BUY IT, its a fantastic story. So don't listen to the negative reports just because the bf fans think they are better in physics and graphics. Many internet reviews found that the BF3 story was extremely bad.

• Call of Duty MW3 = AMAZING STORY FINAL TO THE MW SERIES
• Battlefield 3 = AMAZING Graphics and physics + multiplayer

You decide what you want, Not the BF fans!!!!! Happy buying :)

It caters to a completely different taste than that of BF3 so stop trying to compare them. Bf3 is the best of large, team based, tactical multiplayer. While MW3 is more run and gun, go have some fun for the less serious gamer.

Only one word decribes this game EPIC!!!!!

Great game, worth the wait

Alot of BF3 lovers here and thats fair enough, I have both games and They both have good and bad qualities, I see “needs a new engine” alot, why- whats wrong with it currently--, often games are released with the “new engine” which makes it worse than the original.

This COD is great, the story line is amazing! I was on the edge of my seat literally sometimes yelling “HOLY SH*T DID YOU SEE THAT!-” while my mrs is going “…yes dear…”

The multiplayer is good, I liked MW2 maps better but thats just personal preference.

Had the game for two weeks, just can't stop playing it. I just love Call of Duty!!!!!!

The Call of Duty series has once again amazed me with Modern Warfare 3, even though the engine is the same as Modern Warfare 2 I feel that the game mechanics and detail have vastly been improved. This game is becoming an everyday event for me as it never seems the same.

The continuation of the storyline from MW2 is good, but the gameplay seems to have dropped a notch. Still a good game to waste a few hours on though. A real shame that the background music is not by Hans Zimmer any more.

Have to buy another copy to put on another computer to have a private game,well worth buying but still a few glitches with lag but still a good game. Playing the survival mode is awesome.

Call of duty needs a new engine cause it is the same stuff over and over and over. that is where BF3 comes in its always something new around every corner. till cod gets a new engine I'm staying with BF.

I don't understand why people seem to writing bad reviews for this game and saying Black-Ops was bad too, I have both black-ops and mw3 and I love both games, I have them on ps3 but I'm sure there is little difference! Many, many, many of game on time on both games! Great single player campaign and awesome multiplayer as well as the survival mode will have you addicted!

Haven't plyed it much – but the multiplayer sequence is great!!

The graphics aren't the best and the gameplay isn't innovative or new, but it is still a fun FPS. Personally I really enjoy the multiplayer. It's fast paced, even though the maps are far from the best in the series, and not all that many people cheat or use cheap tactics. What is kinda sad is that this is pretty much all I can say about this game. :/

Its very good in my opinion, only bad thing, takes forever to join a game, sometimes, but other then that, EPIC!!!

Single player campaign follows along the same storyline as the previous titles. Campaign lasts about 5 hours on Regular and not much longer on Veteran. Multiplayer is challenging but fun, especially given the number of players that know the maps intimately.

Good game, I prefered mwf2 but this is still a great deal of fun to play with some mates offlline or on live

Still a quality game and I still look forward to every new release. Yes, the “episode” is a bit short but I counter that by starting at the lowest difficulty rating and working my way up to the highest. By then I've played through the whole game several times but each time there is a bit more challenge so I figure I get my money's worth. Sound, video, storyline and effects are all – well – outstanding!!

It was so good to get this game after BF3. CODMW3 is superior in every respect!
