Kingston is a thrilling power-pop outfit comprised of Dan Gibson (vocals), Scott Cleary (guitar), Shohan Hustwick (bass), and Ben Barter (drums).

Forming in 2006, this forcible foursome has been engaging audiences with their infectious pop anthems and electrifying live shows.

Their debut single ‘Good Good Feeling’ was well received by NZ media, placing in the top 40 NZ singles chart, with their distinctive video proving a huge success on NZ music TV.

Since being picked up by Native Tongue Music Publishing in 2010, ‘Good Good Feeling’ has found pride of place in KFC’s current brand campaign and another single, ‘You Want It’ was licensed for the 2013 Ford Kuga media campaign, proving just how catchy and popular this band’s songs are.

Chosen to be 2008's New Zealand Schools Tour band, Kingston embarked on a 3 month tour of the country spanning July, August & September. As a consequence, the band has developed a solid loyal fan base across New Zealand.

Kingston has sparked international attention of late, and recently relocated the US to write more material and maximize opportunities.

The long awaited debut album, ‘Black and Bloom’ is filled with electric, guitar driven pop that really gets in.

Kingston’s latest single ‘Miss You’ packs a lot of punch with its pounding electric guitar, rolling drums and very catchy melody. Gibson’s voice is engaging as he delivers pining lyrics of lost love.
