Seldom rises above 65 degrees on graphically intense games, and can be overclocked substantially. Mine whizzes along at 1550MHz and the memory speed is 7800MHz… It also runs with a 500watt power supply, with the single 6+2 (8) pin power plug, which means it probably fits a wide range of motherboards.
The Asus STRIX range seems excellent. I'm happy to recommend, and boast about, this GPU.

The 970 may not be as beastly as the 980, But price to performance is great.
Card Can run 4K but at 30FPS for Far Cry 4 Maxed settings.
I am Very tempted to buy a second this card is begging for SLI 4K 60FPS.
