User Review
“5 out of 5 Marvelous! LOVE this product. Beautiful smell and conveniently sized spray bottle. I have one bottle in the toilet as an air freshener AND it seems particularly good for sanitising wooden toilet seats! And another bottle in the kitchen for chopping boards, etc.” Lori
About Wendyl’s Green Goddess
Wendyl Nissen left a corporate career editing magazines and moved home to
work where she discovered that a more simple life like Nana led is not only
nurturing for yourself and your family but much healthier, cheaper and most
importantly green.
In Nana’s day she didn’t use words like sustainability, recycling or
environmentally friendly, yet that is how she lived. She didn’t go down to the
supermarket to buy a bottle full of bright pink, green or purple chemicals to
clean her house, she just went to her pantry and found baking soda, washing
soda, vinegar and soap.
Wendyl wrote her book Domestic Goddess on a Budget in 2009 where she shared her natural cleaning recipes and encouraged other women to live like a Nana. Then her busy friends asked her to make a range of cleaning products they could buy and use safe in the knowledge that all they were cleaning with all natural ingredients, just like Nana used to.
Each Wendyl’s Green Goddess product carries the recipe on the label because it is more important to Wendyl that people opt out of using toxic commercial cleaners and keep their homes free of nasty chemicals than it is for her to make a million dollars.
