A spy thriller filled with crime bosses, turncoats, global conspiracy and corporate greed, all told within a flashback framework. You – Micheal Thorton, an agent forced to go rogue and unravel a sinister plot to shift the tide of global events for nefarious purposes… Story line setup is great, what the game brings out in terms of making you feel like you have more power over game “progression” (One of its better points)… The astounding intricacies of all this though are tarnished by average execution of the idea. If you are looking for a game though; that's reasonably priced, provides a chance to stealth an assassinate many, this will definitely be a game to consider.

The game itself isn't perhaps what I was expecting but the game play is still relatively seamless in it's delivery and ultimately is an entertaining way to spend a weekend or evening. If you're looking for a covert ops stealth game, it also somewhat delivers on this front although perhaps not as well as other titles in that particular sub-genre. Mighty Ape's affordable price makes this game well worth purchasing.
This game was an oportunity missed in my opinion it gets points for a good engaging story but losses points for the lack of polish and how it plays. its a decent attempt at an espionage spy game and would recommend for the price!! its worth a play through
The premise of this game is great, but it is let down by haphazard controls, boring gameplay and being overshadowed by great games in the same genre. The strong points of the game are the RPG nature and the real time detection and analysis of conversation and files.
Unfortunately a promising game borders on unplayable because of repetition and sluggish, rough controls.
The graphics are good in this game. Also it is fun to play. Its like Tom Clancy games and call of duty in one!!
love this game, the fact that you can change how you react and how other characters react to you make this game so enjoyable best espionage rpg game in a long time.
Comes close as a good Spy RPG but if you are looking to specialise in anything other than Assault Rifles then you're better off looking around first.
The game overall was great but suffered from bugs that prevented it from being an excellent game. It suffers from graphical glitches and bouts of freezing.
Alpha protocol is a great game. Slight improvements could be made here and there however overall it is real solid. The gameplay leaves little to be desired once you get used to the interesting targeting at critical hitting. It has a strange hud setup and item and skill swapping can take some time to get used to but once you do, its great. The ability to change game outcomes using choices in your speech that lead to confrontations and can change the way in game characters behave around you is great. It took me about an hour to get really interested, but after that it was awesome. Slight improvements in graphics could be made and the in game collision is sometimes strange but all up I thought sega did a mint job.
A few negatives and a few positives about this game but hey come on guys
this only cost me $25 dollars!!!!
It can have some bad points to this game cause it didnt break the bank to
buy it.
Still enjoyed playing it to!!!
Once again great fast delivery never dissapoints.
thanks mighty ape
An avarage game. Nothing to special.. I played it for couple of hours and god bored of it and sold it. Theres better games out there in this genre
If you've played an Obsidian game before, you'll know that their writers are first class, but their games are pretty buggy. This one was critically panned, which I think is unfair, because compared to, say, Mass Effect, this game does the conversation and morality system much better. I would recommend it on that alone if you are a western RPG fan. If you like shooters, you're looking at the wrong game.
