This is extremely low quality, hence the price, it does the job but as soon as I pulled on the cable slightly, the cable itself came out of the socket alongside the circular ‘shield’. You will need doublesided tape for the bottom if you want to connect your ‘heavier’ USB connections, eg: I have my mouse, keyboard, wacom tablet connected to it and it would fallback due to the weight of these cables.
It’s true plug and play! I am using all 7 ports for a keyboard, mouse, Wacom tablet, headset, webcam, external hard drive and a microphone. All the inputs worked immediately after plugging them into the hub! I have a Macbook though, and since the input is USB-A I had to use an adapter to plug the hub into my USB-C port. (but everything works!)
Holds my USBs in nicely, haven't had any problems so far. I've used it extensively.
