The Birdcage Robin Williams delivers his funniest performance since "Mrs Doubtfire" in this non-stop hilarious comedy audiences and critics adore. Williams stars as Armand, the outlandish owner of a wild Miami Beach nightclub, whose partner Albert (Nathan Lane), is also the star attraction at the club. Gene Hackman is the ultra conservative US Senator Keeley, who faces political problems when his closest political ally dies in his bed with a prostitute. When Armand's son Val, announces his engagement with Keeley's daughter, the scene is set for a riotous comedy of errors. Keeley sees the wedding as the opportunity to restore political fortunes by promoting "traditional family values". If only he knew what sort of family his daughter was marrying into!! Put the two families together and watch the sparks fly in this hilarious battle of the three sexes! (Note: Based on the stage musical "La Cage aux Folles") City Slickers Comic genius Billy Crystal (When Harry Met Sally) stars in this hilarious film about cowboys, careers and mid-life crises. Co-starring Daniel Stern, Bruno Kirby and Jack Palance in an Academy Award-winning role, City Slickers is the rowdiest western jokefest since Blazing Saddles (Rolling Stone). It'll rope you in and keep you laughing from first frame to last. New Yorker Mitch Robbins (Crystal) is 39 and miserable. He's tired of his job and bored with his life. And his two best friends Ed (Kirby) and Phil (Stern) aren't doing much better. So when they all decide to chase their troubles away with a fantasy vacation, Mitch and his pals trade their briefcases for saddle bags and set out to find freedom and adventure herding cattle under the wise New Mexico sky. But what they discover instead is scorching sun, sore backsides and more insight into themselves - and each other - than they ever thought possible! A Fish Called Wanda Barrister Archie (John Cleese) falls in love and tosses off more than his wig for sexy thief Wanda (Jamie lee Curtis) - who can charm the pants off anyone! To make things worse, Wanda is already using her charms on fellow partner-in-crime Otto (Kevin kline in an Oscar(R) -winning performance), a dim-witted, intelectual psycopath who thinks the London underground is a political movement! Meanwhile, Otto is making eyes at henchman Ken (Michael Palin), an animal loving multiple dog-killer, who is infatuated with a fish called Wanda. Get the picture? A British comedy gem, A Fish Called Wanda "takes a spot as one of the funniest romantic comedies of the decade" (Boxoffice). She Devil Someone stole her husband…and now there's hell to pay! Roseanne Barr puts a hilarious twist on the domestic goddess persona that made her a star, and Meryl Streep makes you marvel at [her] real comic witchcraft (Newsweek). She-Devil is a film that doesn't stop at mild-mannered prankster revenge - it's a funny Fatal Attraction on steroids, with attitude, that's gone bad! Meet Mary Fisher (Streep). She's got it all: a cliff-side villa overlooking the ocean, a wholly satisfying career as a romance novelist…and Ruth Patchett's husband. And when Ruth (Barr) discovers that her social-climbing spouse (Ed Begley, Jr.) has been spending his time at Mary's pink-and-white-monstrosity-by-the-sea, she doesn't just vow to get him back…she vows to get even! Setting out to destroy his business accounts - as well as Mary's precious reputation and career - Ruth proves the old adage about a woman scorned - by delivering up a husband nearly scorched! Overboard Goldie Hawn portrays Joanna Stayton, the demanding, pampered, inconsiderate wife of a pretentious, yacht owning socialite. When their boat gets stuck for repairs in the harbour of a tiny Oregon town, bored and impatient Joanna employs carpenter Dean Proffitt (Kurt Russell) to improve her closet space. After completing the job, Dean asks to be paid only to be turned down by Joanna who deems the work unacceptable. So, when in one of her trademark snits, Joanna falls overboard and gets amnesia, Dean hatches a no fail plot for revenge. Taking Joanna home with him, he renames her Annie and in a stroke of retributive genius, tells her that she is the mother of his four unruly children! Stars: Gene Hackman, Robin Williams, Nathan Lane, Dianne West, Daniel Stern, Bruno Kirby, Billy Crystal, John Cleese, Jamie Lee Curtis, Kevin Kline, Michael Palin, Meryl Streep, Roseanne Barr, Ed Begley Jr, Sylvia Miles, Linda Hunt, Kurt Russell, Goldie Hawn, Edward Herrmann, Roddy McDowall Directed by: Mike Nichols, Ron Underwood, Charles Crichton, Susan Seidelman, Garry Marshall
